Marketplace catalog
The Marketplace catalog lists reusable Store Items that can be attached to a project workflow. An item can contain reusable components, federated-app content, infrastructure or VM composition, and metadata describing its intended use.
Browse available items
- Open the Marketplace from the platform or project context.
- Use the available filters to narrow the catalog.
- Review the item name, description, type, version, and any workflow-specific requirements.
- Open the item details before choosing where to install it.
Catalog availability depends on the item type, team entitlements, and the workflows enabled for your account. An empty catalog means that no item is currently available to the current context. it does not indicate that the catalog feature itself is unavailable.
Install behavior
Standard items are added through the project creation or project-component workflow. Items that contain VM add-ons may require an existing target VM and follow the explicit VM-application path instead.
Review Virtual Machines when an item includes VM add-ons or hosted workload settings. Do not assume that every item can be installed into every project or provider.
Item metadata
Store Items expose metadata such as type, version, description, supported service categories, and component relationships. A version identifies the catalog item being selected. It is not the same as the deployed runtime version of every component inside the item.
Current limits
- Search, sorting, ratings, reviews, paid listings, and verified badges are not guaranteed for every Marketplace workflow.
- Installation behavior depends on the item classification and the target project or VM.
- Provider support, deployment readiness, and operational outputs must be checked for the selected item and workflow.
