Marketplace Contributor Guide

The Biztraak Marketplace is powered by its community.
As a contributor, you can publish templates, federated apps, and integrations for others to use. Marketplace publishing and monetization capabilities vary by asset type and account.

What you can publish

  • Templates: project foundations that may include frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
  • Federated Apps: packaged modules such as CMS, Auth, Payments, or Analytics integrations when the selected store-item type accepts a federated app.
  • Integrations: external service connectors (Slack, Jira, Stripe, etc.).
  • Extensions: workflow automation, monitoring, or developer tooling.

Publishing Workflow

  1. Build Your Asset

    • Create a template or federated app using Biztraak standards.
    • Include required metadata: description, categories, dependencies, supported providers, and operational notes.

  2. Submit to Marketplace

    • Upload via the Contributor Portal.
    • Choose the pricing or distribution options exposed by the current workflow.

  3. Review & Release

    • Your submission goes through either Standard Publish or Biztraak Verified review.

Publishing Paths

1. Standard Publish

  • Fastest option where enabled for the asset type.
  • The product may request metadata or review information before listing an item.
  • Listing status and availability are determined by the current contributor workflow.

Best for: community projects, MVPs, quick-start templates.

2. Biztraak Verified (Coming Soon / where enabled)

  • A future or workflow-specific review path may provide additional review information.
  • Do not assume that security scans, manual review, a verified badge, search priority, or featured placement are available for every submission.

Best for: production-grade templates, enterprise-ready apps, monetized listings.

Monetization

Where Marketplace billing is enabled, contributors may be able to offer paid items:

  • Pricing Options: The available pricing model is determined by the current Marketplace workflow.
  • Payouts: Payment-account setup, revenue share, and payout timing are workflow-specific and are documented in Billing when available.
  • Featured Listings: Any spotlight or merchandising program is subject to separate eligibility and availability.

Contributor Benefits

  • Visibility: showcase your work to the Biztraak community.
  • Future commercial paths: monetize eligible templates, apps, or integrations when billing is enabled.
  • Review status: help users understand the listing state and support readiness.
  • Ecosystem Impact: help other developers ship faster and stay compliant.
