Domains

Deployed workloads can receive a Biztraak-managed subdomain. Bring-your-own domains and domain purchasing require the corresponding team-domain and entitlement configuration.

Options for Domains

  • Biztraak Subdomains: quick setup, great for staging or demos

    • team-name.biztraak-hosting.com
    • mysite.team-name.biztraak-hosting.com
  • Bring Your Own Domain: connect your existing domain via DNS records when the team-domain workflow is enabled

  • Purchase a New Domain: register and manage directly inside Biztraak when the registrar and billing workflow is enabled

Adding a Domain

  1. Go to your Team Dashboard.
  2. Select the Team Domain Tab.
  3. Click Add Domain.
  4. Choose one of:
    • Use Existing Domain (configure DNS)
    • Buy a Domain (integrated registrar)

Buying a Domain

When purchasing through Biztraak:

  1. Search for available domains.
  2. Select and assign billing account.
  3. Link the new domain to your project components.

Using an Existing Domain

If you already own a domain:

  1. Add it in your teams Domains settings.
  2. Biztraak shows you the DNS records you’ll need (A, CNAME, TXT).
  3. Update your registrar settings.
  4. Once DNS propagates, the domain is active.

Example

  • Project: MySaaSApp
  • Domain added: app.mycompany.com
  • Records configured in DNS
  • Biztraak auto-provisions TLS certificates and hooks into your deployment

Why Manage Domains in Biztraak?

  • Integrated: domains are tied to your project lifecycle
  • TLS support: certificates are auto-provisioned for the managed domain workflow. customer-managed domain certificate behavior follows the configured domain workflow
  • Fast: instant subdomains for dev/test environments
  • Flexible: use subdomains, bring your own, or purchase new
