Choose a cloud provider based on the service you want to deploy and the operational tools you need after deployment. Availability can differ between component types, so a provider with a VM catalog may not support every managed application workload.

The main VM deployment experience is currently unavailable because deployVmEnabled is false in the current frontend configuration. The VM operations listed above describe provider capabilities that are available only when that experience is enabled and the selected VM workflow exposes the operation.

What the differences mean
- AWS and Google Cloud are the main managed deployment choices for the standard infrastructure catalog.
- Azure can be connected for supported resource visibility, cleanup, tagging, and cost workflows, but managed component deployment is not ready.
- DigitalOcean currently offers VM size choices, but managed component deployment is not ready.
- VM size choices do not guarantee VM runtime controls. Runtime controls are currently available for AWS and Google Cloud only.
- Cloud resource discovery is not currently available in the main product experience.
- Deployment events and logs can differ by provider. The available operational detail is not identical across all providers.
